DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with the Saint Joseph Symphony during HOLIDAY CHEER 2026\, a beloved St. Joseph holiday tradition filled with festive music and seasonal favorites. \nThe evening will feature timeless holiday selections\, orchestral arrangements\, and the Symphony’s traditional audience carol singalong. \nAcclaimed soprano and St. Joseph native Hannah De Priest joins the Symphony as special guest artist. Named Musical America’s March 2026 Artist of the Month\, De Priest will perform selections from Messiah along with treasured seasonal favorites. \nSaint Joseph Symphony principal violist Monty Carter will also be featured in a portion of Vaughan Williams’ Suite for Viola and Orchestra. \nAdding to the holiday fun\, one young local musician will take the podium as the Symphony’s guest “elf” conductor. The student conductor will be selected from essays submitted by area students\, continuing a special tradition designed to bring young musicians into the spotlight. \nJoin the Saint Joseph Symphony for an evening of music\, celebration\, and holiday spirit at the historic Missouri Theatre.
