DESCRIPTION:Let young artists put their imaginations to work during Kids Media Mix-Up at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.\nDesigned for children ages 6 to 12\, this after-school art class gives students the opportunity to explore a variety of materials\, techniques\, and creative processes. Each week features a new project\, allowing participants to construct\, paint\, print\, assemble\, and experiment with different forms of art.\nProjects may include sculptures\, paintings\, prints\, and mixed media creations. Classes also feature Collection Connections with works from the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art’s permanent collection\, encouraging students to explore museum artwork and use it as inspiration for their own creations.\nKids Media Mix-Up is part of a weekly Tuesday series offered from August 25 through December 15\, 2026. Students may attend individual classes for $15 or purchase a six-class punch card for $75.\nClass sizes are limited. Advance reservations are encouraged.
