SUMMARY:Colored Pencil Workshop with Wanda Taylor
DESCRIPTION:Explore the possibilities of colored pencil during a full-day workshop with artist Wanda Taylor at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.\nParticipants will create a dramatic still life while learning techniques for composition\, layering\, blending\, complementary color\, texture\, and developing a personal artistic style. A candlelit still life setup will be provided for students to photograph and use as a reference.\nWant to create something more personal? Participants are also welcome to bring their own objects and arrange a custom still life. Choose any theme that inspires you\, from a spooky Halloween scene to a festive Christmas composition you can complete in time for the holidays.\nWanda will provide step-by-step instruction throughout the workshop\, making the class suitable for both beginners and experienced artists looking to strengthen their colored pencil skills.\nLunch is included in the registration fee.
