SUMMARY:Donut Dash
DESCRIPTION:The Donut Dash is a family friendly 5K+ timed run/walk through the streets of historic downtown St. Joseph\, featuring Mount Mora Cemetery\, Patee House Museum and Robidoux Row. Along the route\, participants can stop at designated watering holes to take a quick drink and enjoy the donut holes of the famous Gold-N-Glaze Donut & Coffee Shop. Proceeds will go to Mount Mora Cemetery\, Patee House Museum and Robidoux Row. \nRace Date:  Saturday\, October 30\, 2021\, at 8:00 a.m.  \nThe race will be timed. \nPre-Registration Fees: \n5K+ Run/Walk: $25 (before Noon\, Friday\, October 22\, 2021 to get tee-shirt) \nChildren 12 & Under:  $10 \nLate Registration:  $35 \n(You can register until 7:30 a.m. the morning of the run\, but it must be done through the RunSignUp website and no cash payments are accepted onsite.) \nRegistration Includes — \nT-Shirt (not included in late registrations)\nRace Bib\nFinisher Medal \nSupport of local treasures Mount Mora Cemetery\, Patee House Museum\, and Robidoux Row\nAnd of course\, Gold-N-Glaze donuts!\n \nRemember to register by Noon on October 22nd to secure your t-shirt! \nStart Time:  8:00 a.m. \nStart Location:  Patee House Museum – 1202 Penn Street\, St. Joseph\, MO \nFinish Location:  Gold-N-Glaze Donut & Coffee Shop – 1825 Frederick Avenue\, St. Joseph\, MO \n(There will be a shuttle service to return you back to the start location.) \nPre-Registered Packet Pickup: \nOctober 29\, 2021\, at Farmers State Bank\, 2211 North Belt Highway\, St. Joseph\, MO from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. or the morning of the run. \nAwards: \nAll participants will receive a really cool finisher medal. \nAlso prizes for the following: \n\nBest Costume (Adult)\nBest Costume (Child)\nBest Costume (Pet)\nBest Donut Themed Costume\n\nStrollers Welcome:  Participants with strollers will start behind the runners so that everyone will be safe. \nPets are welcome. \nNo refunds will be given for the event.  Run will take place rain or shine. \nNote:  No motorized vehicles\, roller blades or bikes will be allowed on the course.  Protection will be provided at intersections by volunteers or the St. Joseph Police Department. \nDon’t miss this fun 5K+ run/walk on October 30\, 2021\, at 8:00 a.m.! \nReminder:  You can register until 7:30 a.m. the morning of the run\, but it must be done through the RunSignUp website and no cash payments are accepted onsite.

Dreasher entered the art field in 1998 and has served the arts industry as an appraiser\, artist’s representative\, broker\, art fair VIP director during Art Basel\, exhibition curator\, consignment contract negotiator\, estate consultant\, auction conductor\, collector\, private-treaty acquisition consultant\, expert witness (deposing & testifying)\, and collection manager. After spending 10 years selling fine art privately and subsequently 5 more years with Kansas’ largest privately-owned retail art gallery\, Dreasher performed auctions\, estate sales\, and eventually dedicated himself entirely to the appraisal industry. Since 2012\, he has been featured at 22 appraisal fair events across 4 states. \nLoren Whittaker – Whittaker Fine Art Appraisals\nLoren Whittaker earned her PhD in the History of Art from the University of Kansas. She is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA AM)\, and teaches at the Kansas City Art Institute. Loren’s doctoral studies focused on 19th-and 20th-century American art and 15th- to 19th-century European paintings\, sculptures\, and works on paper.
