DESCRIPTION:Sign up now to participate in the Third Annual St. Joseph\, Missouri Marathon set for Saturday\, September 27\, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. This scenic and challenging race route\, which begins and ends behind Civic Center Park in downtown St. Joseph\, will take participants from the north to south end of town and embodies St. Joseph landmarks along with incorporating the city’s historic parkway system. The race will feature five different distances for participants to choose from and include:  full marathon (26.2 miles)\, half marathon (13.1 miles)\, 10K race (6.2 miles)\, 5K race (3.1 miles) and a relay team (five persons) element that encompasses the full route. SUMMARY:Pyro Flow September Fire & Flow Jam
DESCRIPTION:Fire and Flow Jam Krug Park returns Saturday\, September 27\, 2025 at 7 PM in the lower parking lot of Krug Park in St. Joseph. Come early for a wheel jam one hour before while we set up. Bring skates\, hover boards\, or longboards if you like\, but note the lot is not ideal for skates. Fire starts at sunset. This is a community stage with a mix of fire spinners and non fire flow artists of all ages. Spectators are welcome. Family friendly\, drug and alcohol free\, and Leave No Trace. First time fire spinners and performers\, please RSVP to Mooncat at 319-594-2829 or message Pyro Flow. Check in early with Mooncat or Rose for a quick safety meeting\, gear check\, and waiver.

Join Shelly Cox for an engaging presentation where you’ll discover surprising facts about spiders and learn the unusual art of spider sniffing. After the talk\, enjoy an up-close look at live spiders and sample some seasonal treats. \nOnce the presentation wraps up\, the adventure continues outdoors with a guided spider hunt. Flashlights will be provided for some participants\, but you’re encouraged to bring your own. \nThis event is recommended for ages 5 and up. All participants ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $5 per person (with an additional 3% transaction fee for card payments).
