SUMMARY:Intro to Drawing Animals with Alex Asher
DESCRIPTION:Discover the art of drawing animals with artist Alex Asher in this two-part workshop series hosted by the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. \nThe first session\, Intro to Drawing Animals\, will be held at the museum on Wednesday\, October 8 from 5:30–7:30 PM. This class is designed to build confidence in sketching by covering foundational techniques\, tips for capturing animal forms\, and an overview of the tools Alex prefers for outdoor sketching. The cost for this session is $35 per person. \nThe second session\, Sketching at the KC Zoo\, takes place on Wednesday\, October 15 from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. Participants will join Alex at the Kansas City Zoo to practice drawing live animals in the field. Admission to the zoo is included. The cost is $75\, or $65 for museum members. \nWhile the sessions are designed to complement one another\, participants are welcome to attend either session individually or take part in both for a complete learning experience.
