DESCRIPTION:Learn the art of colored pencil with Wanda Taylor at the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art on Thursday\, October 16\, 2025\, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. With 20 plus years of experience\, Wanda teaches composition\, complementary color\, texture\, blending\, and developing a personal style. Choose a guided lesson or bring your own reference image. Wanda will take you through the process step by step\, layer by layer. All skill levels are welcome. \nWhat to bring: heavy drawing paper such as Strathmore 400 or smooth watercolor or mixed media paper\, artist grade colored pencils such as Lyra Rembrandt\, Faber Castell\, or Prismacolor Premier\, a white plastic or kneaded eraser\, and a pencil sharpener. Optional: Clairefontaine Pastelmat\, a drafting brush\, a printed reference image\, carbon transfer paper\, odorless solvent and a brush for blending\, watercolor pencils\, scissors\, tape\, and a drawing board. \nHosted by the Albrecht Kemper Museum of Art.
