The season opener is Saturday, September 25 with “NEW: Season, Sound & World.” “We invite you on this musical journey through struggle to triumph, “said Maestro Kelts. “These themes reflect the times we’re in. We want everyone to leave the performance feeling inspired.”

New this season are pre-curtain talks by Maestro Kelts starting at 7:00 pm with shows starting at 7:30 pm. (The holiday show in December is the only exception.) The first Chamber Concert of the season is actually a free community concert on Saturday, November 6 made possible by funds from the David H Morton Memorial Fund for the Arts. Entitled “Bach, Jazz and Carmen – Ole!” this family-friendly show was designed by principal flutist, Lory Lacy to be a fun introduction to orchestral music. Joining her are pianist, Charles Badami and cellist, Sascha Groschang. Part of “First Saturdays Downtown,” the concert starts at 3:00 pm at First Christian Church, 927 Faraon St.

All in-person programs are one hour in length. Masks are required. Providing safe conditions for all the musicians, attendees, volunteers and staff are paramount in the planning.
