The Missouri River is a beautiful natural treasure that still promises adventure, a chance to view birds and wildlife and a peaceful escape from the cares of the day.  Missouri River Rafting offers two half-day tours on the Missouri.  A 12-mile tour beginning north of town at Nodaway Island and ending at the Remington Nature Center.  And a 14-mile float from Saint Joseph to Atchison Kansas.

Tours are scheduled 24 hours in advance for groups of 2-6 maximum.

Shuttle service is also available for paddlers with their own canoes or kayaks who are planning independent explorations of area waterways.
