Named after the Emilia-Romagna pasta region of Italy and our pasta loving daughter Emersyn (Emy), we are a family owned Italian inspired pasta restaurant in St Joseph, MO. (Or as our son named Magnus would say, EMI is also short for “Emy & Magnus Incorporated”) Any and all explanations are correct 😉
We make our fresh pasta in house & all our dishes are made lovingly from scratch with the best and freshest ingredients we can buy.
Erik is the curator of all our appetizers and main dishes while Lesley oversees our desserts and freshly baked organic sourdough bread.
We enjoy visiting Italy any chance we get and much of our food is inspired by our trips there. We all have a particular love of Napoli and all its unique and delicious food and charm.

Our dinners are reservation only, Friday and Saturday evenings, and consist of a three course prix fixe menu with optional wine pairings. Our prix fixe menus change biweekly.
