Have you ever thought about writing a book or just love discovering new authors? Be a part of the Local Author Showcase at the Downtown St. Joseph Public Library (927 Felix St.) on Saturday, March 29, from 1 to 3 PM.

Meet 14 local authors from Northern Missouri who will be on hand to discuss their books, share their writing process and offer tips for aspiring writers. Many authors will have books available for purchase.

Attendees will also have a chance to win a book-themed gift basket and refreshments will be served.
