Join us for the 2026 Annual Arbor Day Celebration in St. Joseph from 10 AM to 1 PM. Families can receive up to two free trees while supplies last, with species including Bald Cypress, Black Walnut, Cottonwood Cuttings, Deciduous Holly, Kentucky Coffeetree, Mixed Hickory, Norway Spruce, Pin Oak, Pitch Loblolly Pine, Silky Dogwood, Silver Maple, and Wild Plum.

The Loess Hills Chapter of Missouri Master Naturalist and the St. Joe Woodworking Guild will be on site with informational tables and activities. A small nature hike will also be offered at 11 AM, weather permitting. Guests planning to participate in the hike are encouraged to wear proper footwear.

Smokey Bear will also be attending, along with additional information about MDC programs and services.
