Join us for a hands on Trail Maintenance Workshop focused on safe and effective chainsaw use for mountain bike trail work. This educational session is designed for riders, trail stewards, and volunteers who want to help keep local trails clear, safe, and rideable.
The workshop will be led by Jeff Lawler, who brings 9 years of wildland fire and chainsaw experience. Topics include chainsaw maintenance, troubleshooting basics, safe cutting techniques, and efficient procedures for removing deadfall from trails.
Participants are welcome to bring their own chainsaw to learn using their personal equipment. Whether you are brand new to saw work or looking to sharpen your skills, you will leave with practical knowledge to work safely and confidently while supporting our local trail systems.
