The St. Joseph Parks Department is hosting a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new shelter and bathroom at Corby Pond (2202 Northeast Pkwy.) on Monday, August 11 at 6 p.m. TJ Preacher with the Department of Conservation and Sara Wilson from the Glore Psychiatric Museum will speak on the health benefits of nature, followed by a program from the Boy Scouts on starting fires.
