There will be activities and special events every Saturday beginning with the Downtown Lighting Ceremony. – The Downtown Association will host the Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 30th at Coleman Hawkins Park in Felix Street Square. The holiday party will commence at 5:30 pm with live holiday music in the park, Santa will make his appearance to turn on the lights and kick start the firework show at approximately 6:00 pm.
This is also Small Business Saturday. There will be Pop Up Shops in the Downtown Concession building and dining and shopping promotions at the various downtown businesses. Carriage rides will take visitors through our city streets, showcasing our historic architecture and marvelous holiday window displays.
