Pastel Workshop with artist Jill Tichenor is a full day class on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. The workshop includes guided exercises to help you explore pastel techniques and is a good fit for beginners as well as artists who want more structure in their current process. Participants will practice layering, blending, and color application. Cost is $130 per person and lunch is included. Please park in the regular museum parking lot and follow the sidewalk east of the museum to the Education Center. Recommended supplies include Rembrandt soft pastels (half sticks), a 9×12 Mi-Teintes pad, a kneaded eraser, a blending stump, and Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils.
