Main Street Saint Joseph and the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce invite you to The Wild West Sloppy Joe Fest presented by Clarios! It will take place on Friday, July 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Sloppy Joe cook-off and tasting experience hosted inside the United at 602 Felix St. Felix Street between 6th and 7th will be closed to traffic to make room for outdoor festivities.
Festival highlights include:
• A Sloppy Joe cook-off competition featuring local cooks
• A crowd-pleasing Sloppy Joe eating contest
• Live music and toe-tapping tunes
• Frontier reenactors and a rowdy cast of Old West performers
• A brew tent and a variety of Sloppy Joes
• A complimentary hayride connecting activities across downtown
• Western-themed vendors
Rumor has it you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled. Jesse James himself might come swaggering through town for a showdown with our very own hometown hero, Sloppy Joe.
Beyond the main festivities, the entire downtown district will come alive with participating businesses offering Wild West-themed specials, activities, and experiences throughout the day and into the evening.
While the Wild West Sloppy Joe Fest is free and open to the public, and there will be Sloppy Joes available for purchase, if you want to taste a variety and help crown the best in town, grab a $10 tasting ticket!
