Kick Off the Weekend on Friday, March 13
Flash Bash Weekend at Oracle’s Eye
Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. through Saturday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m.
Flash Bash Weekend returns to Oracle’s Eye with themed flash on Friday and all new spring-themed flash sheets on Saturday. This event is first come, first served and features $75 tattoos on arms and legs only in black and grey only.
Saturday, March 14 Events in St. Joseph
Second Saturdays in Downtown St. Joseph
Saturday at 9 a.m.
Spend the day shopping, sipping, dining, and exploring during Second Saturdays in Downtown St. Joseph. Local businesses will host special events, pop-ups, live music, tastings, hands-on activities, and exclusive deals throughout the day. It’s a great chance to support small businesses and enjoy everything downtown has to offer.
Snake Saturday Pregame Party and Beer Pong Tournament
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Moony’s Coffee, First Barrel Brewing, and Teed Up Golf are teaming up for a block party before the parade. Expect coffee, adult beverages, a festive atmosphere, and a Beer Pong Tournament with bracket-style play and prizes. Free parade parking is also available.
Snake Saturday Irish Coffees and Brunch
Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Start parade day with authentic Irish Coffee, a light breakfast buffet, and themed drinks. Pre-purchase is encouraged, but not required. Bonus points for showing up festive and pretending you’re naturally this cheerful before noon.
Pickle Brunch at The Den
Saturday at 11 a.m.
The Den is hosting a pickle-themed brunch as part of Second Saturdays and Fake St. Patty’s Day, also known by some as Snake Saturday. Guests can enjoy a pickle-inspired charcuterie spread, Bloody Mary bar, fun music, and one complimentary mimosa. Mocktail mimosa options are available. Reservations are required in advance. Cost is $25 per person.
13th Annual Shamrock Run 5K
Saturday at 11:15 a.m.
Lace up and go green for the 13th Annual Shamrock Run benefiting Special Olympics athletes in the community. Whether you run, walk, or cheer on participants, this family-friendly event combines fun, fitness, and community spirit for a great cause.
40th Annual St. Joseph St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
One of St. Joseph’s favorite traditions returns at noon. The parade begins at Frederick and Noyes and finishes at 8th and Felix, featuring floats, Irish music, and groups celebrating Irish heritage. Hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the parade continues a long-standing local tradition and partners again with Second Harvest Food Bank to help fight hunger.
Luck O’ the Irish Karaoke Party
Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Head to CafeAcoustic Concert Hall for a free afternoon of singing, dancing, food, drinks, and giveaways during the Luck O’ the Irish Karaoke Party. If your singing voice sounds like a bagpipe fighting for its life, this may still be your moment.
Snake Saturday at Pagan Hideaway
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Celebrate Snake Saturday old-world style at Traveler’s Hearth with beer, wine, shots, herbal tonics, and an all-day party atmosphere. Costumes are encouraged.
Annual Lucky Charms Saturday
Saturday at 11 a.m.
Club Geek opens at 11 a.m. for the parade crowd and will be serving free Lucky Charms and milk while supplies last.
Homemade Peppermint Shake Workshop
Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
St. Joseph Community Gardens is hosting a hands-on activity for kids where they’ll learn to make homemade peppermint herb shakes using fresh, organic peppermint. Each child will also plant peppermint seeds and take home a biodegradable pot. Attendance is $10 per child and space is limited.
Pi Day Celebration with Roy Moye III
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Celebrate Pi Day at InspireU Children’s Discovery Center with a full day of hands-on STEM fun. The event includes a live STEMusic concert with Roy Moye at 10:30 a.m. plus interactive activities like making a slice-of-pi bookmark, launching a super-flyer, creating a spinning whirligig, and building a cardboard pizza pi. This event is included with general admission.
