Personalized Pincushions Workshop with Marylin Huskamp

Create a personalized pincushion using a favorite vintage cup, dish, or small container during this hands-on workshop with artist Marylin Huskamp. Participants will choose from a variety of fabrics, trims, buttons, beads, and embellishments to design a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
A small amount of hand sewing is involved, but no previous sewing experience is required. Participants should bring a container for their pincushion and at least 2 ounces of clear E6000 glue. Special trims, buttons, or embellishments may also be brought from home. A limited number of Japanese teacups will be available for purchase during the workshop while supplies last.
The workshop takes place Wednesday, July 29, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. Registration is $50 per person.
