Painting Workshop with Donna Bland

Join acclaimed artist and instructor Donna Bland for a three-day painting workshop at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.

Designed for intermediate and advanced painters, this workshop will help participants strengthen their technical skills while exploring a variety of subject matter. Artists may choose to work on landscapes, figures, or portraits using their own reference photos or provided inspiration.

A live model is planned for the Friday session, giving participants the opportunity to paint from life.

Through demonstrations, guided practice, and individualized instruction, Donna will cover essential painting concepts including value studies, color mixing, strong composition, light and shadow, color harmony, confident brushwork, and expressive impressionist techniques.

Participants will receive personalized feedback throughout the workshop while developing a stronger artistic voice and greater confidence in approaching different subjects.
