Colored Pencil Workshop with Wanda Taylor

Explore the possibilities of colored pencil during a full-day workshop with artist Wanda Taylor at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.
Participants will create a dramatic still life while learning techniques for composition, layering, blending, complementary color, texture, and developing a personal artistic style. A candlelit still life setup will be provided for students to photograph and use as a reference.
Want to create something more personal? Participants are also welcome to bring their own objects and arrange a custom still life. Choose any theme that inspires you, from a spooky Halloween scene to a festive Christmas composition you can complete in time for the holidays.
Wanda will provide step-by-step instruction throughout the workshop, making the class suitable for both beginners and experienced artists looking to strengthen their colored pencil skills.
Lunch is included in the registration fee.
