Sculpt Your Own Santa with Barb Hurst

Get into the holiday spirit during Sculpt Your Own Santa with artist Barb Hurst of Zella Mae Originals at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.
During this full-day workshop, participants will create a one-of-a-kind Santa face from clay while learning sculpting techniques from an experienced artist. Barb will guide students through shaping Santa’s facial features, incorporating glass eyes and real fur, and adding decorative details that give each creation its own unique personality.
Barb has been sculpting Santas since 1995 and has created more than 700 original pieces that are now part of collections across the country.
Whether you envision a traditional Father Christmas, a cheerful St. Nick, or a Santa with a personality all his own, this workshop offers a festive opportunity to develop your sculpting skills and create a special piece for the holiday season.
Please note that this workshop focuses on sculpting the Santa face only.
Lunch is included with registration.
