Adventures in Spider Sniffing

Discover the fascinating world of spiders during Adventures in Spider Sniffing at the Remington Nature Center.

Naturalist Shelly Cox will present “Spooky Spiders,” an educational program exploring spiders and the unique technique known as spider sniffing. Guests will have an opportunity to see live spiders while learning more about these often misunderstood creatures.

Following the presentation, participants will head outside for an evening spider hunt around the Remington Nature Center. A limited number of flashlights will be provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own.

Treats will also be available during the event.

Seating is limited to 25 participants, so advance reservations are recommended. Payment may be made on the day of the event.
