Colored Pencil Happy Hour with Wanda Taylor

Spend your Thursday evening getting creative during Colored Pencil Happy Hour with Wanda Taylor at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.

With more than 20 years of experience working in colored pencil, Wanda Taylor guides participants through techniques including composition, complementary color, texture, blending, layering and developing a personal style. Guided lessons are available, or participants may bring their own reference images and projects. Wanda walks students through the process step by step and layer by layer. All skill levels are welcome.

The class meets from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays from August 13 through September 3, 2026. The museum’s official calendar confirms the September 3 session and lists the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art at 2818 Frederick Avenue in St. Joseph.
