Step back into the Roaring Twenties during Free Museum After Hours at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. This free community event features local history, Prohibition-era fun and engaging activities for visitors of all ages.
Local historian Sarah Elder will present “Prohibition & Progress: St. Joseph in the 1920s” from 5 to 6 p.m. Learn about the optimism, growth and cultural milestones that shaped St. Joseph before the Great Depression.
Guests can also create a themed art project, visit the museum’s speakeasy photo booth and enjoy Prohibition-era food and drinks. Dinner is available for $8 per person, and a cash bar will be offered.
