Kids Media Mix-Up

Let young artists put their imaginations to work during Kids Media Mix-Up at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.

Designed for children ages 6 to 12, this after-school art class introduces students to a variety of materials and creative techniques. A new project is featured each week, giving participants opportunities to construct, paint, print, and assemble their own original artwork.

Projects may include sculptures, paintings, prints, and mixed media creations. Classes also feature Collection Connections, giving students opportunities to explore artwork from the AKMA permanent collection and use it as inspiration for their own creative projects.
