2027 Winter High School Basketball Showcase presented by Fastgas at St. Joseph Civic Arena on January 2 featuring boys and girls high school basketball.

Ring in the new year with a full day of high school basketball during the 3rd Annual St. Joseph Sports Commission Winter High School Basketball Showcase presented by Fastgas.

Eight games will take over St. Joseph Civic Arena on Saturday, January 2, featuring boys and girls teams from St. Joseph and across Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.

All four St. Joseph high schools will be represented, with St. Joseph Christian, Bishop LeBlond, Benton, and Central facing a lineup of regional opponents. Six of the day’s eight games feature out-of-state matchups, giving local basketball fans an opportunity to see teams they may not normally encounter during the regular season.

The schedule includes several accomplished programs, including the Benton girls following three consecutive trips to the MSHSAA Class 4 Final Four, Nebraska Class B third-place finishers Norris, Kansas Class 6 state champion Olathe North, and Kansas Class 4 Final Four participant Atchison.

From the opening tip at 10:00 a.m. through the evening finale, the Winter High School Basketball Showcase offers a full day of high school hoops at Civic Arena in Downtown St. Joseph.
