Holiday Cheer 2026 with Guest Soprano Hannah De Priest

Celebrate the season with the Saint Joseph Symphony during HOLIDAY CHEER 2026, a beloved St. Joseph holiday tradition filled with festive music and seasonal favorites.

The evening will feature timeless holiday selections, orchestral arrangements, and the Symphony’s traditional audience carol singalong.

Acclaimed soprano and St. Joseph native Hannah De Priest joins the Symphony as special guest artist. Named Musical America’s March 2026 Artist of the Month, De Priest will perform selections from Messiah along with treasured seasonal favorites.

Saint Joseph Symphony principal violist Monty Carter will also be featured in a portion of Vaughan Williams’ Suite for Viola and Orchestra.

Adding to the holiday fun, one young local musician will take the podium as the Symphony’s guest “elf” conductor. The student conductor will be selected from essays submitted by area students, continuing a special tradition designed to bring young musicians into the spotlight.
